WinHlp32.exe

Windows Vista nu mai deschide fisierele Help care folosesc WinHlp32.exe. Deoarece folosesc C++ Builder 6 (pentru ca C++-ul de DOS nu merge in Vista) si am nevoie din cand in cand de Help, am cautat WinHlp32.exe. Acesta poate fi downloadat aici, in cazul in care nu vreti sa il luati de pe site-ul de la Microsoft (unde trebuie sa verifice intai daca e Windows-ul e genuine).

Conficker

Conficker, cunoscut si ca Downup, Downandup sau Kido, este un worm ce a aparut in octombrie 2008 si care exploateaza o vulnerabilitate ce exista in Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 si Windows 7 Beta. Numele Conficker vine din limba germana si tradus literalmente este "con-fucker", dar se pronunta Configure. Numele vine de la faptul ca worm-ul modifica system configuration data, adica modifica configuratia pc-ului.

Calculatoarelor infectate le sunt dezactivate Windows Automatic Update, Windows Security Center, Windows Defender si Windows Error Reporting, ca mai apoi worm-ul sa se conecteze la un server, unde primeste informatii sa stranga informatii personale, sa se propage, sa downloadeze si sa instaleze malware aditional. Worm-ul se anexeaza si unor procese din Windows precum svchost.exe, explorer.exe si services.exe

Pana la sfarsitul lunii ianuarie peste 15 milioane de calculatoare au fost infectate, de aceea Microsoft ofera 250 000$ pentru informatii despre cei care au creat si raspandit worm-ul.

In timp ce Apple lanseaza a patra generatie iPod, Microsoft introduce posibilitatea descarcarii melodiilor in media playerul digital Zune daca exista acces o retea Wi-Fi. Intotdeauna mi-a placut lupta intre Apple si Microsoft .

Windows-ul ma iubeste

Da, suna ciudat. Dar de o saptamana am observat ca atunci cand stau langa calculator dupa ce-l pornesc, nu-mi mai apare eroarea aia la windows. Daca plec de langa el, apare. Cred ca s-a atasat prea mult de mine.

De cate zile tot am eroare la ntdll.dll. Asa ca am cautat pe net despre el. Am gasit asta:

Probabil ca o sa mai umblu pe la antivirus si sper ca nu o sa mai am probleme. O sa revin cu un edit daca am rezolvat ceva.

Am Windows (cu licenta, bineinteles, ca doar nu exista piraterie in Romania). Ca si tine, ca si majoritatea lumii. Nu inteleg de ce atunci cand ma grabesc, dau un Alt F4 si sunt aproape de a apasa Turn Off, vad scris mic sub "Turn off without installing updates". Am luat o data o teapa si am dat turn off crezand ca nu o sa faca nimic. A facut. Mi-a stat cateva minute sa instalze update-urile. De atunci sunt atenta la scrisul mic. Eu ma intreb: daca vreau sa imi inchid pc-ul, nu e evident ca nu vreau sa-mi instalez update-uri?
